Our Classes

Baby Massage

We often recommend Baby Massage as a baby’s very first class experience. Suitable from birth, it provides a calm, nurturing space for you and your baby to enjoy precious one-to-one time together while gently adjusting to life outside the womb.

Through soothing massage strokes, positive touch, songs and rhymes, you’ll learn simple techniques that can help comfort and relax your baby, while strengthening the special bond between you. Many parents find baby massage particularly helpful for easing symptoms of colic, wind, digestive discomfort, teething and minor congestion, as well as supporting better relaxation and sleep.

But Baby Massage isn’t just beneficial for babies – it’s for parents too. Those early weeks can feel overwhelming, and our classes offer a chance to slow down, connect with your baby and spend time with other new parents who understand exactly what you’re going through. Many families tell us that Baby Massage quickly becomes the highlight of their week.

No two classes are ever the same, making each session a magical new adventure for both babies and grown-ups.

Our carefully planned activities are designed to support your baby’s development while keeping learning fun and engaging. Through sensory exploration, gentle movement, visual stimulation, music and play, babies are encouraged to develop the skills needed to reach important milestones such as rolling, sitting, crawling and eventually taking those exciting first steps.

We understand that babies learn best when they’re happy, comfortable and not overwhelmed, which is why our classes follow a thoughtful balance of activity and quieter moments. Along the way, babies will meet our much-loved puppets, enjoy captivating sensory experiences, join in with songs and movement, and delight in our famous parachute activities.

A favourite part of every class is our dedicated sensory exploration area, where babies can enjoy free play and discover a variety of sensory stations, themed activities and hands-on experiences. This unstructured play time encourages curiosity, confidence, motor skill development and social interaction, while giving parents and carers the opportunity to relax, chat and build friendships with other local families. Fun facts

Babies Vision

Newborns’ colour perception is limited to white, black and grey, as their eyes and capacity for sight are not fully developed at birth. The first primary colour a baby will see is red. When choosing toys that are visually stimulating for your baby look for high-contrast black-and-white patterns. This will attract their attention and help them to focus.

I’ve been going to Lovabelle since my little one was nearly 8 weeks old and we love it. Classes help him develop his senses, language and motor skills, keep him entertained and allow for contact with other babies. It is also a good opportunity to chat with other mums and exchange experiences and tips.
Gemma is lovely, keeps babies entertained and always help the shy mums get the conversation going (thanks Gemma )
We’ll be going until my little boy is too big and ready to move to toddler group.

  • Stephanie Graham

Couldn’t recommend this class more! It was the stand out class of my maternity leave. Gemma is so welcoming, the atmosphere in the group is brilliant. The group is so friendly, it was an opportunity every week to talk to other mothers and ask questions and get advice and make friends. Miss coming along every week!
My baby also got a lot out of it. Absolute excitement when the puppet was on its way, loved the light show at the end, staring at all the other people in the room and having a good people watch.
